Just Testing

This is just a test, this is only a test. Had this been an actual reply I might have said something. Still, I like the new board, just take some getting used to.

I'm having a problem. I can reply fine and I can post. But when I post it post it on 2-15-02. Instead of the actual date. How do I fix that.

It's doing alright now. For some reason if I used the same subject line as I have before. It wanted to post it on 2-16-02. But when I changed the subject it was alright. I'm referring to my joke post in General Discussion.

Josh,

Give us the stat's of what new server and software is.

I really like this new board better than the old board.

Tell us what the server configuration is, # of hard drives, RAM, RAID setup, Operating System, Web Server, ISP hosted or not, what database used, I see this runs using PHP ... great! Give the details for us techies and truckers out here!!! more more more ....

Thanks,
-Roger

The server is:

P3 1ghz
512mb ram
Single 40GB IDE HDD
Red hat linux 7.2
Apache 1.3.1

It's a leased dedicated server.

The board runs using PHP and MySQL for a database.

Thanks Josh.

Linux/Apache/PHP/MySQL = A nice proven combo setup!!! Ya gotta love it!

I thought for sure you would have SCSI drives. I can take it that the MySQL database is on the same machine then. Oh well, if it works you can easily expand on it.

Thanks,
-Roger

I'd love a SCSI drive... But as budget allows it's IDE for now....
