Wiring Harness Install...Extra items to consider

I just ordered the AAW complete wiring harness for my 71 GMC. I've read through multiple posts about the harness, tips, tricks, etc. and have begun assembling a list of things I'm going to need in addition to the kit. Here's what I have so far...

1. Good crimpers/stripper (Ordered the AAW crimper 10-18ga)
2. Solder for various connections/soldering iron
3. Heat Shrink in various sizes/heat gun
4. Wire loom in various sizes
5. Wire Ties
6. Electrical Tape
7. Masking Tape
8. Self tapping screws and cable clamps for routing wires
9. Rubber grommets in various sizes for passing through sheet metal
10. Multimeter
11. POSITIVE MENTAL ATTITUDE

Any other "obvious" gotchas out there that may stop my progress for a trip to the hardware store? I'm not foolish enough to think I will eliminate all those trips, but I'd sure like to minimize them!

The very first tool you'll need when undertaking a wiring project of any size is a complete wiring diagram for the vehicle you're working on.. These diagrams are available right here on this electrical forum..
