Bored

It is a cold, wet, overcast day. I don’t want to go outside, I don’t wish to do “housework”, I’m bored and there is absolutely nothing to watch on TV. I recall when I only had three channels to pick from and one of those was fuzzy. Now I have over 250 channels to pick from and there is nothing to watch. I think we need to start a campaign to lobby for a “John Wayne” channel. You know, John Wayne movies all day separated by Victoria’s Secret commercials!!!! That would be the life.

I have "Spectrum" used to be TW cable. 1265 and 1245 have a lot of the old westerns. Some Audy Murphy and Randolf Scoot. They also have Gunsmoke, Cimmaron City, Bonanza, Wagon Train, Rawhide, The Rifleman and others. Or you could watch curling like I am.

I watched a John Wayne movie a long time ago when he first made westerns and it was called something like Randy Rides Again,,

He sure got better thru the years ,,

Ditched cable years ago. Umpteen channels and still nothing to watch. Now I have a huge TV antenna, and one of the many local stations plays Bonanza, Big Valley, The Rifleman, Adam 12, Emergency, etc etc.

Like a trip back in time! And FREE!

Where do you get something like that?

I called to cancel the satellite service on my house out in the sticks since we aren't there enough to justify the cost...And it sucks.

They kept trying to get me to transfer the service to my new house. I told them no,I already had service.

Then they told me if I didn't transfer service it would be $235 to turn it off.

$235 to turn it OFF! No way. That's not going to happen. I refuse. I'll just stop paying the bill. It'll get turned off and they're not getting another nickel out of me. And I told them so.

3 years of never being late on a bill and this is how I get treated.
