I pulled the trigger on the 70 Burb

I couldn't pass this one up. I fell in love with these trucks after surfing this forum. It's a 1970, got it from the 2nd owner, 99k miles, 2wd, I6, etc etc. I'm looking forward to learning from the pros on here. It was only 10 miles from the house.

Re: I pulled the trigger on the 70 Burb

Glad to see someone got it. It has been on craigs for a long while. I have to many projects now but if it had been 4x4 I would have been there to look at it.

Wes out at classic Heartbeat has just come out with the lower sheet metal repair panels for in front of the rear wheels. Good luck with the project.

Most women like the strong, silent type… Fortunately for me, my wife prefers the out-of-shape, mouthy type.

Yeah I went to check it out and it was pretty solid compared to what I've seen on this board, and for the price I had to get it. I been eyeing it for awhile, but those types of trucks aren't desired so much in this area, unless you like them.

I'm about to order those panels that you mentioned in the near future.

thanks,
Clarence
