It sure is.My neighbor has a longbed '45 GMC but he wants stupid money for it. Decent body (repro bed),no engine or trans,later car 5-lug rear axle and spindles.

This one has a 302 Chevy engine.

Was it at the MDA Car show/swap meet? If so I looked at it. I think he wanted around 8K for it???

I don't know. In his email he told me that he was asking $10,000 for it.

Probably worth it. My neighbor wants $7k for his and I think that's too much for a rolling body.

IF the engine is a true DZ302 block, it's probably worth $5k in itself.. not to mention the rarity of the truck. Can you get the serial numbers off the block?

I really don't know him well enough to ask him to get this information for me. I sent him an email and asked him to take a few pictures to send to me. If I don't get something from him by the first of next week I will call him.

Myles, I just called him and he sold it back this past spring. had I not been half way through the restoration on my '53 Chevy truck I would have bought it. I will keep your information and check another friend who is big time into these trucks to see if he knows where one is. The '45 is a rare find.
