8 weeks for CPP products - AUGGG!!!

I order a complete CPP front disc brake kit and drop spindle 2 weeks before x-max. I ordered it thru summit racing for the free shipping. I was told that everything would ship in 2 weeks. ok great holiday project. Well when it didn't I called and was told another 10 days. that time came and gone and was told another 10 days. still nothing. and again and again.

finally called again this past Tuesday and was told 10 more days. they kept giving me some b.s. about waiting for part deliveries. now I do understand that parts are out of stock from time to time, but 8 weeks?

well after hearing their b.s. again I had enough. I canceled the order with summit and they returned my money. (no complaints with summit).

I called mark at ECE and guess what, he has everything in stock. so I asked him, you sure its in stock? he assure me it was and I should have it all by end of next week. awesome, bought time.

I've bought CPP stuff before with no problems (slow shipping though). but with this last go around I don't think I'll by any thing else unless I absolutely have to. so buyer beware......

Not Summit's fault.
They were being "held hostage" like all the other people that order direct from CPP.

That's the nice thing about ECE they tell you they have it or when they will have it or call you if they find they ran out.
