Don I would run them tires they look fine. How did you like the weather yesterday. I worked on my truck then the family and I went to the creek and did some fishing. I really like the 60 cant wait to see what you do to it next. Are you going to leave the patina paint?

Sorry for such a long delay Daniel... Three of the tires are STILL holding air...

Not really sure what direction this one will take, but the patina is topping the list of paint options...

Small update...
Over the course of the recent months, many changes in my life have taken place, which is the dominating reason why I haven't been posting much, but here is a small portion of what's happened...

A friend that I got this truck from found the missing cowl extension. It's the one on the left in the pic...

He had originally planned to scrap the truck, so the hood was destroyed and the cowl extension became a metal donor for the '63 he's building.
Another friend, who's building a '64 rat truck, dropped by to pick up a fender acquired from Donnie, aka "DWCardfan." During our conversation about this truck he spotted the bent frame waiting to be carted off to the metal yard. So after a deal was struck, he will be by soon to cut a section of frame he needs and I have the complete cowl extension pictured with the butchered one...

I truly enjoy the barter system...

Sourced a hood and other bits from a 61? Viking... A friend found this and we are halving the cost of the entire truck, complete with 292...

Thanx mate, photo credit goes to my friend Tony who found this one... trying to get him to join this amazing community... he's just put a patined 62 & 1/2 (his designation) on the road and I will be sharing pics as soon as he drops by the store or here at the house.

He was supposed to come by the store yesterday but a fuel leak belayed those plans.
