Radiator support mount

Getting ready to mock up the front on my 48 truck. My question is what does the radiator support sit on? Is there a spacer that goes on the bottom of this support? Mine was missing this so anyone have pics. When I went to put the drivers side fender on it appears that I need to raise the support up for the fender to bolt to the cab. Any help would be appreciated.

Forgot to mention the fenders and inner fenders are after market, radiator support is the original.
