Re: 60-66 Patina's or O.G. Painted Truck Pics

I think it is funny how trucks with original paint on them are considered gangster. (O.G. = Original Gangster)

I always thought of them as more country than gangster.

That Original Gangster hasn't crossed my mind since the late 80's when EazyE was Hip!! for me today it's short for ORIGINAL

Though I'm certainly no authority on this culture, I thought O.G. (original gangster) stood for the early crew of legitimate characters. The "real deal" in other words. Not posers, not wanabees, but the old-school founding fathers of what's become an ugly mess.
In this light, calling an untouched survivor "O.G." is appropriate, but to otherwise glorify the thug culture by associating it with a cool, unmolested truck just doesn't seem right.

Here my original 1966 C10 Shorty Deluxe Custom Cab loaded with some nice original patina! 283, AT, PS Factory in-dash A/C, Factory Custom Cab Deluxe interior with all the original chrome outside, 1 repaint original color at some point not sure it was a total repaint though, some still looks original to me
