Bagged 88-98
Question, do you have to replace the front control arms to bag and lay frame on these trucks? not going to body drop. thanks

Re: Bagged 88-98
We need to have a suspension FAQ for 88-98 trucks.
Like ... showing a few visual samples of drops: 0/2, 2/3, 2/4, 3/4, 4/6, 5/7, 6/8, bagged, bagged & bodied. Needs to include what kit and/or option was used (spindles, springs, shackles) and whether UCA/LCA or other components were replaced, shock mounts relocated, sway bars added etc. Would be cool to see with aftermarket and stock wheels. Also needs to include considerations when doing it... like whether you'll: - Need to notch bed support in rear if you go beyond 2-3" in these trucks, for example, because the leaf spring support will hit or something - Need to notch LCA once you get below XYZ inches in front and/or when using smaller (factory) wheels. - Need to notch rear frame rales once you get below XYZ inches in rear - etc. etc. And any other considerations one would need to worry about. I found that type of thread extremely helpful when I was bagging my '68.
