E=6000-7000 LB GVWR
K= 4x4
1= 1/2 Ton
4= Two Door
H= 305 Engine
6= Check Digit
B= 1981 Year Model
F= Flint Truck Assembly
14382= Production Sequence

4TH DIGIT IS GROSS VEHICLE WEIGHT RANGE & BRAKE SYSTEM
E = 6001-7000 LB., HYDRAULIC

5TH DIGIT IS LINE DESCRIPTION & CHASSIS TYPE
K = 4WD 1981-1986

6 DIGIT IS SERIES ( 1/2, 3/4 OR 1 TON)
1= 1/2 TON

7TH DIGIT IS BODY TYPE
4 = 2 DOOR

8TH DIGIT IS ENGINE SIZE/INDUCTIO SYSTEM
H = 305 V8 / 4BBL CARB (FOR 1981)

9TH DIGIT IS THE CHECK DIGIT
6 = CHECK DIGIT (ASK KEITH SEYMORE FOR MORE INFO ON THIS ONE)

10TH DIGIT DESIGNATES MODEL YEAR
B = 1981

11TH DIGIT IS FOR THE ASSEMBLY PLANT
F = FLINT MICHIGAN

LAST 6 DIGITS IS THE PRODUCTION ASSEMBLY SEQUENCE NUMBER

1981 GMC built in Flint means I probably built that truck.

Gross vehicle weight as in fully loaded with passengers,fuel and cargo not to exceed 7000 lbs total. To include the weight of said vehicle as well.
