That would be super kind of you. But at this point-looking in my wallet- I'm going to have to stick with rattle cans. I'm hoping to take the rims to work and wire wheel off the old rust and paint. But it might come down to hand sandpaper job.
I think I will splurge for the clear coat though.
I thought I had the color all picked out with the bright silver, then comes along this metallic pewter. Back to design stage...good thing is rattle cans are fairly inexpensive.

The color was originally from a rattle cab product 30 years ago.
Years later I sprayed a piece and the auto paint supply scanned it for a match.
Maybe you can find the rattle cab online
It was stainless steel particles in paint and it was called Real Steel.
Maybe you can't did
I found rattle can on. Lowe's website

Re: Anyone paint their rally wheels other than factory silver?

Personally to me I think the body color of the truck has a big influence on how good or bad the rallys look painted other than the original silver/argent paint.

I'm partial to this engine enamel color I found. It is essentially pewter with a hint of army green.

That's what I was thinking.
White, black, blues and some greens would work.

Did you guys do a clear coat over the color?
And, I already know, but have to ask. Did you sand blast the rims first??

Re: Anyone paint their rally wheels other than factory silver?

When the '90 Blazer I had was new, I blasted and had the rallyes powdercoated gloss black. I stripped the argent off the flanges of the center caps. They are polished chrome under the paint. Looks way better than paint
