k5 odd color combo

I thought it was rare to see white on black....but black on white two-tone? Must be a repaint. In any case, this thing is clean!

Nah, that is a factory color scheme. I remember seeing those around back in the day. In fact, there is one just like that rolling around my town although it is in rough shape with faded paint. Red with a black stripe were much more common though. The one in your add link is very nice for a salt belt Missouri rig. ’83-’84 grills are my favorite to boot!

Re: k5 odd color combo

I had an '81 that started out life those colors. It was pretty whooped by the time I got it. I ended up getting it in trade; I thought it looked a little silly when I first saw it. It ended up being black with a red interior (the interior was cheap out of a theft recovery)by the time it was put back together.
