Wheel Offsets - drop w/cpp modular spindles

Hey guys, I'm starting to plan on the drop for my Burb and need some advice on wheel offset. The truck is a 70 model with the wider rearen from 71-72. I'm planning on doing a 3-4 drop using the CPP modular drop spindle in front so I'll get an extra 3/4" reduction in track width per side. I'm planning on going with 20x8 up front, or maybe 9.5 if it might fit. I'd like to run the same wheel in the rear if possible so I could rotate tires. Can anyone recommend an offset/backspacing for this combo? I searched the board and can't find much mention of backspacing when using the modular spindles.

Re: Wheel Offsets - drop w/cpp modular spindles

I have the modulars, 0 offset is about right, thats 4.5" bs on a 20x8 or 5.25 on a 20x9.5. Should work nice on a late width rear end. 9.5 should fit with that drop but with much more drop that might be a bit too wide up front. I have 20x8.5 up front w/ 4.75 bs and 20x10s with 5.5bs in the rear, have to run 3/8 spacers in the rear but thats with a early width rear end.

Yeah, I talked to one of the Tech guys at CPP and he said he had a spring which would add a little more drop in the front to go with the modular spindle.
