I took my Blazer to the shop a couple weeks ago to get painted.Wasn't sure what color was going to be, but I know it would be some kind of orange. Then I saw a new Dodge Challenger, and loved the Toxic Orange paint. My Blazer is a 1970 2wd Blazer, started life down Ga. I bought it a couple of years ago off of a board member. It is a 6 banger with a 3 on the tree. Two utility buckets up front, and that's about it. It's going to be a 402 big block, auto, lowered 3 1/2"/5", and 68 front clip. Should be back by Thanksgiving!

lol, me either, but it's a shoe string budget (Broken strings at that)
so mine will not be headed to paint until fall of 2012, or even 2013.

(2014 will be 10 yrs since I bought it, really hope it's done by then)

Now it makes sense, didnt understand why you needed to put a whole bedside on your truck...dont think that dent will polish out

Did you try to fit the molding up, maybe Ill get to it tomorrow, if I remember(old age)

That thing looks clean, much rust?

It was easier for the shop to put the bedside on, the was a 1" gap between the door and the quarter. The was some issues around the door hinges so I replaced both doors. Of course the roof leak through the years so the floor pans and rockers needed fixed. It wasn't a whole lot of rust but there was more then those pitures should. I did not get any trim yet. But now there is a blazer quarter on one side and a swb truck side on the other. I measured in about a dozen places and I do not see where there is any difference in the wheel arches.

jaros44sr, No I have not found the rear fender for the 50th, but I always have my eyes opened.

Im glad youre right saved me about 500.00 in the cost of trim

thing is, it doesnt line up real well with the body line( about a 1/4" low) i replaced the forward lower piece, ritght behind the door, maybe i installed that wrong, i shall see

They were on the Blazer when I bought it, and I think the owner thought they were off of a late 70's jeep wagoneer, maybe. They're 6 bolt, I'm converting over to 5. I'll either go with corvette rallys or the 5 spoke American racing.

Here is after the shop got the Quarter on. Had to replace passenger side due to very large dent. The driver's side was rust free, with only a small creease behind the tire.
