76’ Scottsdale Seat Belt Question

Hey all…
Starting to take out the interior, assess what I have and don’t. Love center seat belts, nice brown color. Some cleaning they would be great, well minus taking off warped plastic covers.

Passenger side tractable belt system I assume is original, seems good, it just needs cleaning. However the driver side strapping is fairly trashed near where it snaps in.

Is it possible to replace just the strapping in it? If not, if I search for an original, I noticed the retractable housing behind the seat on the side is bolted down and at the top of it welded to the body inside. Not a welder, can that housing stay and me replace the inside components?

Not looking to keep this perfectly original but want to reuse as much as possible.
Thanks in advance…

Re: 76’ Scottsdale Seat Belt Question

There are a few places that restore seat belts. Not sure what the cost would be. I only wish I would have found out this before I got rid of mine and went with aftermarket belts.

Wow I might have to find some junk yard belts and get them restored! Thanks TKCR!
