SOLD Milodon High Volume Water Pump, 350 Chevy Serpentine, Low Miles

Hey all,

I've got a serpentine belt style Milodon High-Volume pump with only 12k miles on it that I need to get rid of. I used it for about 9 months on my old 1990 Suburban before I switched over to the Big Block. It kept the 350 below 165 degrees all the way down from Maryland to Texas during the August heat while towing a boat (at 70-75 mph in 100+ degree heat), and I had it weighed in at the truck stop at 11,000 lbs with the trailer.

In my opinion, its the best waterpump out there for the cost. I'm running one on my 454 too. The only other pump I trust is the Edelbrock 8881, which is what I have on my GTA. These are very sturdily built, and it made a big difference over stock in cooling. It runs $89 new from Summit http://www.summitracing.com/parts/MIL-16213/. I'm asking $49 shipped (or $35 picked up locally).

I installed it after doing a double system flush with Peak Radiator Flush. After the flush, I drained ALL coolant from the engine until it was running straight distilled water. I then added the proper amount of concentrated Peak Lifetime Antifreeze to bring it up to a 50/50 mixture over the complete system (complete capacity given by the factory service manual). I also added Water Wetter additive for the seals. The motor it was on only had 30k on it (the pump went on at the same time that I put the Vortec heads on, and it was clean as a whistle inside). There's still a huge amount of life in the pump, I'd say it's barely broke in.

I'll mark it as soon as it's sold.

In case you didn't click on the link, this is a reverse rotation water pump for an '88-up Serpentine Belt system small block.
