Here's my 72 I just picked up a few days ago. It has been sitting for over 7 years. Finally got my buddy to sell it to me. It needs some work but I'm up for the challenge.

Thank you! No, I added a few factory options during the restore. AC cab, floor shift tilt, skid plate and the buckets/console. I really appreciate this website, so much helpful information. The correct bucket seat under floor bracing was added also. Here is the original SPID.

Picked it up two weeks ago in Orlando Florida by way of new Mexico




Picked up 6.0/4l80 out of 07 van this past weekend and stopped by Fourm members house for some parts. Wheels and tires be here next week but taking the truck down to Florida this weekend to start LS swap. Ordered new leafs for rear today, stockers are dead after flip kit.

Ls/ac daily driver. Simple interior.

I have raced mostly inboards for twenty year and the last ten I have spent building the gas turbine engines for the U-11 unlimited hydrploplane team.

Wow. Talk about chalked up and faded out paint. That looks like 2 different trucks. I had to look real close to tell they were one in the same.

That is a GREAT looking 68! What's the history of the truck?

My brother had a 68 K20 Custom 4 sp that started w/ 292 6cyl, then put in 283 V8. Was red/white top w/ suicide mirrors.

That was the HEAVIEST DUTY K20 I have ever seen! The leaf springs were 1/2" thick and only 3 leafs on each corner. He lives in Sheldon. Sold the truck about 20 years ago.
