The reason people are asking those prices is because people are paying it. No real sence placing an ad complaining about high prices. Nobody has a gun to your head when looking for a truck nor can you pull a gun on a seller to make him get real. Too many buy low sell high shows on tv turning crap into gold.

I've seen ads like it that weren't funny but it's so over the top it becomes humorous. Levity rules!

I think it's funny and I like it when someone sums up how ridiculous humans can be. Someone has to do it, not that it will help. But it gets some people thinking at least, which seems to be optional for more and more. Too many people hopping on board who don't know any better with judgement based on what others they see are doing. The blind leading the blind and the greedy taking advantage of it

He has a valid point and I applaud his mediocre manner. Some people just see dollar signs because that's what the TV shows do.

Definitely worth saving for posterity.
I have a rusty piece of junk truck that was 4x4 and ran when I parked it. The frame is rusted out along with the fenders, quarters, doors, sills, bed, floor and every other piece of steel on it. It's only thirty two years old and had 863,000 easy miles on it when I parked it six years ago. I put a brand new Walmart oil filter on it in 2005 and it hasn't burned a drop of oil since then. It won't start this year and I think it might just need some minor repairs like a new starter, block, pistons, heads, camshaft, crankshaft, lifters, oil pan, valve covers and transmission. I'm only selling it at this ridiculous price because I think most people are really stupid. Asking $8,400 or best offer over $15,000 because I think it's worth it. I'm greedy so I'll let it rot before I sell it for a reasonable price. I can throw in a very nice snow plow set up for an extra $4,300. When are these truck selling clowns going to get real?

I love it. That's funny.
I can't stand to even look at trucks on CL anymore. Every rotted out truck with a 305 and two burnt valves, mismatched fenders, wrong seats, uncle bubba lowered it with a torch, but other than that it's all original one owner, I bought it from the guy who traded a Polaris fir it from the guys grandkid who sold it for a quarter paper, and oh I checked the book value is 34,000so I'm asking 12,000 no lowballs but I'll trade for guns because I'm a prepper preparing for zombies.... It seriously gets ridiculous.
