Bumper and wheel color otions

I am trying to figure out some wheel and bumper color options. If I go with a body color front bumper I don't know what I will do with the rear bumper.
Photo 1) how it is now chrome bumper black wheels.
Photo 2) Chrome bumper and body color wheels.
Photo 3) Chrome bumper white wheels.
Photo 4) Body color bumper white wheels.
Photo 5) Body color bumper body color wheels.

Re: Bumper and wheel color otions

I like 3. I think the contrast of the grill and bumper as they are now looks good. It seems the painted options kind of lack a certain "bling". Nice truck by the way.

Re: Bumper and wheel color otions

I live far enough north that winter occurs. In winter most people remove their nice alloy wheels and put on winter tires and plain black ugly utilitarian rims. It's a joyous rite of spring every year to remove those ugly rims. It's like seeing girls in heels instead of winter boots. Every time I see a vehicle with black rims it turns me off. Do a photoshop with all chrome and see what people like.

3 shows more of the trucks features. All one color makes things blend together and look like a big blob.

I would, but doing photoshopped chrome wheels is to much trouble. Besides I’m not a fan of chrome wheels. Sorry

Just to add to my post. That’s just my feeling/opinion and I would never begrudge anyone to individualize their rides how they choose. Enjoy that nice truck.

Re: Bumper and wheel color otions

The wheels are currently getting powder coated white. So for now it will be number 3. Before I go and make a bumper decision I need to try and spray paint my old bumper with bad chrome and see what it will actually look like. I like the idea of having a lot of chrome up front but I also like having something a little different. Another part of my hesitation in painting the bumper is that I will have miss matched bumpers and I really don’t want to paint my rear bumper

Re: Bumper and wheel color otions

Or you could keep the chrome bumper and paint the grill white?

Re: Bumper and wheel color otions

Toooo late
Wheels were powder coated on Wednesday. I should be installing them next weekend. I am thinking skinny trim wrings and push though caps but not sure yet. Maybe I will have to do another poll.

Wheels looks nice! I like the hubcaps alone and I like the trim ring alone...not sure about the trim ring with hubcaps. I think I like the last picture the best.

haha! OK so now they all look good! I still think I like just the ring by itself best...my second choice is ring and hubcap together...

I really like the push through caps...

Re: Bumper and wheel color otions

Rings and caps accentuate the chrome of the grill and bumpers beautifully while the white of the wheels is the perfect complement to the door inset.

I thought I would like the push through caps and trim rings the most but I think it needs the trim ring
