Ah ha. Fancy marketing. I never heard of specific 4x4 cam but I imagine it helps the consumer get a cam that works for their application better than just picking a cam from a list of numbers. Pretty good Idea to market them like that. That shows how often I shop for cam shafts.

I'm assuming this is the latest iteration of what used to be called an "RV cam", a common phrase used in the late 70s/early 80s. But who knows...

Clean straight bodied classic Chevy truck. As you can see from the pictures this thing looks great. Clean lifted 4x4 truck with the 350 cu in (5.7 L) V8 in it. You need to call and come see this truck.

Great condition, but the med green w/olive interior trim doesn't quite work for me. That's just me though - real nice truck and a big block too.

Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds

Not a CL ad, and I stumbled across it by accident - and there's so much bogus crap on the net these days - ok, there's my disclaimer - if interested, just make sure to confirm all legit first..

72 C20 Cheyenne Custom Camper Longhorn 402(!) (for $1525 - THIS is why I think it may be bogus... has to be, right? If real, possible deal of the century)
http://classiccardb.com/chevrolet/15...-base-66l.html

I can't stand ads like this, too much truck for the asking price, but if it's your dream truck, worth at least investigating, with caution.

Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds

Something strange about that whole site...

http://classiccardb.com/chevrolet/45...-base-41l.html
Price is listed at $ 1250...yet text says "my reserve is $6750"

Buyer beware everyone...if it looks too good to be true...it usually is...

Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds

Yeah, it gives me the willys. Maybe the low numbers are the current bid or something? but yeah, it's just kinda weird. Recommend see this IN PERSON before handing over any hard earned $. I'm gonna guess this site isn't quite on the up n up. I hesitated to post it, but I figured that with at least the heavy amount of caution I shared, well, we're all grown ups, and can avoid being stupid when buying a truck. But if it's for sale and it's real, it's a nice one!

Don't believe it's for our trucks. Note tag on the GM sticker that says Metric bolts required.

Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds

I was wondering that. There are a couple others on ebay with the same part number that list them for a 67-72 chevrolet truck. But they might be wrong.

Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds

Go to LMC. Look under battery tray, you'll see the one for the 67-72 trucks.

Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds

Most ebay posts are made by people selling items that they have zero knowledge of....

The posts listing this battery tray say 67-72...which is simply incorrect...we all know the 67-72 is a totally different piece...

The battery tray pictured is actually 73-87 tray...

More interesting is the ebayer wants $35...LMC lists the tray for $ 13...yes, its a repop...but seriously...

There is not much to be said about this extremely meticulously 1967 C10 Hot Rod pickup. From the front bumper to the rear this truck is ALL brand new. Less than 500 miles 293 to be exact and has yet to break the show circuit. This truck potentially could end up sold out of the country so now is your opportunity to own a very special vehicle. Only serious buyers will be granted a viewing appointment for inspection.

Great looking ride. Not a comment on the price, but I always find it odd when I see something this nice and that expensive listed on Craig's List.

Honey have you found a decent set of used tires for us yet? No, but I did find this nice truck for 125,000 bucks.
