WTB: Suburban

Looking for a parts, or complete suburban. Must be clam shell and would prefer as rust free as possible. I am willing to ship it if need be. Would also like the 3 rows of seats.

I think the “rust free” part is what’s holding you up BrianHill6.

Re: WTB: Suburban

I'm thinking of pulling all three rows out of mine. They are the blue color. rear 2 in pretty good shape, front is a little torn up, but all there. Welcome to make me an offer

Re: WTB: Suburban

I ve got this one, actually have a real pink slip for it, not in my name. This is a C Suburban on a K chassis. Corporate 14 bolt rear end, Dana HD 44 front end w/4 1/2” hubs. I have a third door for it, and a better tailgate. Currently has no drivetrain or steering column, but I have correct transfer case, transmission, combos for auto or stick application. Let me know if you re interested. I m up here in God’s country, 45 min north of Lake Tahoe. Ken

Re: WTB: Suburban

Duraburb, I’ll keep you in mind. Depending on what I end up buying, I may or may not end up needing seats.

you could set up a similar search pattern with the terms of what you're looking for..

might have to open a couple of different search arrays with different terms, such as 4x4 / 4 x 4 / 4wd / four wheel drive / you get the idea..

good luck!

orange county ca sacramento portland seattle phoenix albuquerque dallas denver

you get the idea.. add all the major cities you're willing to drive to or ship from and check the boxes for surrounding cities until your search results overlap..

you'll go through all of the usual mixed bag of craigslisters.. some really cool folks and some super flakes.. gotta weed through them though when you're on the hunt for something getting kind rare..

lots of 2wd but 4wd results are limited and even fewer 3/4t 4wd..

used these too but lots of bogus listings and emailed and called on a few that were either sold two years ago or never heard back from anyone

autotrader classics collector car network hemmings

good luck!

Re: WTB: Suburban

Brian, Good talking to you as well. Keep me in mind if you find what you're looking for and want to offload the body you have now. I'm going to end up with an extra 2wd chassis when I'm done with my 2 burb, one panel project and will have enough parts to make a 2wd burb, less the body of course. Thanks for the response, Ken

Re: WTB: Suburban

I appreciate it. I’m already searching all the Craigslist’s around me with my morning coffee. They are out there, but they are either rusted out, or people want a fortune for junk.

Guess he does not want to sell it that bad. Number is a land line. I have called a few times now and left a message with no response.
