Keeping sun visors from falling down

I got a new set of sun visor brackets and visors from Classic Industries, and they are fine, but somewhere I read what to do to put tension on the visor so it stays up, but can't remember what it was. Any suggestions? Tbrown

Re: Keeping sun visors from falling down

I've bought a couple of sets of reproduction sun visors, and never had an issue with them flopping down, usually the opposite - they've all been TOO stiff and too hard to move.

Found this tip on LMC visor page:

http://www.lmctruck.com/features/ca/CACI3.htm

Sun Visor Installation Tip: If your sun visor is loose on the rod and won't stay in the up position, bend the rod slightly to tighten the sun visor on the rod.
