Front End ID

Working on my '56 stepside which has a '70s C10 front end. I'm thinking about splurging and buying a tubular A-arm setup, but I'm having trouble identifying whether the parts on the truck are '70 or '73. Trying to figure out using upper ball joints as a guide, as they differ in '70, '71 and '73. Problem is they're so close in size. Got some help with a diagram from CPP, but the measurements again are very close. My center link is definitely a '70, but I don't think that helps. Appreciate any guidance you might have!

Re: Front End ID

73-up C10s had rubber A arm bushings. 72-and older were the steel bushings. Easy to tell the difference.

Re: Front End ID

Also 71 and newer are disc brake, earlier are drum.
Can you find a casting # on the spindle? That would help.
