75 c10 brake hose nut

Does anyone know where to get the thin metal brake hose nut? It goes on the threaded end of the front brake hose and tightens against the frame to secure it.

Thanks for the offer. I am going to check the dealer once and see if they have or can get them. If I can't I'll let you know.

I was able to get what is supposed to be the last one in Houston from a buick dealer. I only needed one. Thanks agian for the offer. Keep them under lock and key they are hard to find. You can order them from GM in quantities of 20 @ $5.00 each.

Re: 75 c10 brake hose nut

Go to your local small hardware store and ask for a 5/8" fine thread jamb nut....

Take the brake hose to make sure it fits but they work fine for me....

This looks pretty close. Not sure if the size is correct, but something to work off of.

I searched 'hex push nut'. Might also be called a retainer nut.

Re: 75 c10 brake hose nut

Thanks guys, was at a wrecking yard yesterday and found a couple 81 up C10, grabbed a couple, these are a real pain to remove.PO had cross threaded them on and also rounded heads off the brake lines, had to get a long screw driver in there and pry them off, then push lines to outside of the frame and loosen brake lines. All good now, but I wish they were like my 1970 just pull the clips out and away you go.
