Post 454's in '72 turcks?

I know that chevrolet put 454 motors in 1972 el camino's ...but did they put them in the chevy 1/2 ton trucks too?...like a 454 with 365 horse power?

Nope, the 454 didn't come into light trucks until '73. The 402 (or 400...same engine with a different name) was the only big block available.

My Daily-Driver: '72 Chevy LWB Custom/10. Rebuilt 350, 300 HP thanks to a few go-fast goodies. Ochre with a white top. Future plans include TBI fuel injection, a 700R4 tranny, and possibly some 3.73 rear gears.
