6 to 5 Lug conversion
I purchase a 68 C10 a month or so ago and it has all CPP suspension parts and the big brakes disc all around. The upgrade was done leaving the truck 6 lug. I am looking for the best route to do a 5 lug conversion to have a better choice of wheels to put on the truck. What is the best way to do this?

Give CPP a call and ask them how to make the conversion you are asking about. Should be fairly painless, but its their gear you are wanting to modify, so go to the experts to get the correct answers.

You will probably only need rear axles, front hubs and rotors to do what you want.

I was wondering about this also since I'm probably going to do a square body crossmember swap. most of them are 5 lug, what does it take to so the rear? i heard before id have to cut the saddles off my old axle, but what would be a good axle to swap in?

Thanks! I called CPP and need front and rear rotors along with front hubs and rear axles. So for about 1000.00 I can do it. Now just to find that deal on some nice 20" billet wheels to make the swap. I got a nice set of 18" Raceline wheels 6 lug if anyone looking for some.[IMG]
