I have been showing some pics for a while now but kind of hid the real truck it is becomeing. I know some of you will like it and others will not see why I would do such a thing. This is not a very good pic but it does give an idea as to what is happening.

I dig it, kinda reminds me of the 2 door Tahoe I seen at SEMA show in Vegas. The yellow one that was featured in Truckin. It kind has the sloped Nomad look.

The top isall custom. We did buy a suburban top and used a few structural parts (they were all modified though) and part of the roof skin. NSANE it's funny that you mentioned the yellow tahoe. The shop that built it is within two miles of my Jimmy. It had nothing to do with mine though. Mine will be a little nicer that that one though

That is one good looking truck!

I have been looking for a late 60's early 70's 2WD project truck (to drop). I was thinking of a pick up but after seeing your Jimmy, I have seen the light. Jimmy hunting I will go. Keep us posted with the pics.

but i still love my 4 wheel drive

Thanks for the compliments. I am going to keep the paint job under wraps for just a little longer. I would hate to see it somewhere else before mine gets done. The front suspension is a Art Morrison clip. The pic with the wheels doesn't have a frame. It was just mocked up but it will drive at that height when done.
