My New Daily Driver

Well I Sold my 91 to a buddy of mine, who has some wicked plans for it. I sold it because I picked this up in Florida its a 99 Gmc Yukon 4 door 2wd, with 70,000 Miles on it 1 owner. I have slowly been cleaning it up, fixing the few issues it had. I am Hopefully getting it plated tomorrow, I have been driving around with my florida 30 day tag since I brought it home. I have more plans and a few parts on order. I still havent detailed it yet. So far I have Put a rad in it, New driver inner door handle, and rear wheel cylinders. I removed the ugly rear window deflector the first day at the hotel in florida. I removed the bug guard, grille insert, polished the headlights, parking lights and tails.Added my smoked corners I had laying around from my Black truck. Removed the running boards yesturday and mud flaps. So far Im happy with it. It has a full mandrel bent true dual exhaust. Sounds mean as hell.

Re: My New Daily Driver

Very nice...and those Limited wheels are hard to find. Do you have plans to drop it?

And why in the world would somebody block off the grille, in Florida? I thought only you Canucks used those in the winter to keep the coolant from freezing.

Re: My New Daily Driver

Nice purchase, a dropped two wheel drive 4 door tahoe has always been on my mind for a good family daily driver. Kind of jealous lol.

Re: My New Daily Driver

Looks great. Nicely done.

I love the Chevy 5-spoke wheels you had before. I have never seen them on anything around here. Do you know what years they were available so I can try to track down a set?

Thanks. No wonder I haven't ever seen them before. Finding a 1992-up 2wd Tahoe or Suburban around here is next to impossible.

Re: My New Daily Driver

Update:
Been along while since I last posted. Truck now dropped 4/4 my 20" Coys C5's off my Sierra. Removed factory pinstripe off the sides.
Now has hand painted old school pinstriping on the hood and rear barn doors. Have done a lot to the truck. And have a lot more planned.
