Re: Happy Thanksgiving ya'll
This year its just my honey, her sister and me. No kids, no grand kids, no siblings ... nadda. I finally just got tired of the maybe we can make its, the sorry we are so late, the no shows, we made it but we ate at someone else's place first so we aren't hungry. Its just turned in to pure stress instead of pure family and friends.
I have no idea what happened to the holidays, its just not the same around here as we had growing up. However we still do the large family gathering on my wifes side on Saturday. Everyone does whatever they do on Thanksgiving day and they do it all again (or maybe the first time) on Saturday. I do invite the kids and grand kids to that one, but they pretty much always have other things going on. These last two months of the year are probably my least favorite. That being said, I hope you all have a wonderful Turkey Day!!!

Re: Happy Thanksgiving ya'll
WoooWeeee! Have mercy! I did it. I ate way too much for one day. We had a great family get together. Even the little kids played together well all day. We sent the left overs home with our daughter. All except the lemon ice box pie. My wife makes that one just for me. I love that woman.
I hope ya'll had a great day as well.
