Changing would require registering under a new nickname. You would be starting from zero again.

Re: changing screenname

I have thought about changing mine, just on principle....mine is great for gun forums (and that's my name on a couple of gun forums) but no so great on a truck forum.

I would change it to "Lock Patient," "Happy Old Man," "Regular-K," or "Ford Truck."

JUST KIDDING!

I would change it to "Dad's Truck" or "Money Pit," something very accurate for my case. But my name is working and people know me as that so I will stay.

Re: changing screenname

Mine doesn't fit me now. Mine should be Oatmeal. I still do have one special K-model, though, and that's what I have been consistent with so it still applies. I never cared that much for it. Just came up with it when my old name wouldn't work. That was Super-K and I used to want to get it changed to that but I no longer have the Cheyenne Super K/20. In the end, a name is what you are identified with and name changes screw the whole point of that up. "Hi, I'm Tim. I used to be Jerry till 5 years ago. Before that I was Harry. I started out with my parents calling me Joey. Did you go to the same school with me...I mean us...er them?"

Re: changing screenname

I had a name when I joined the board. Then I didn't log in for quite a long time (or maybe it was a short time? haha) Either way I forgot all my board info. I had to make a new account. Fast forward to today and I have no idea if this was my original name or not. Did I stick with the new name, or did my brain fart fade and I remembered my original account info and went back to it?

Thank you brother! Yeah my name has not fit for a few years now since I sold it back in 2012. The rig I have now which I acquired in 2011 will be my casket!

I hate to do it but i think it's time to change mine too. It's not appropriate any more.
