Bagged Suburban Guys??

Where are you guys putting your tank and compressor at. Mine's been on schrader valves for a while and I'm about to install my Air Ride Technologies digital air gauge and sensors. Just trying to find the best place where it's not too loud.

Re: Bagged Suburban Guys??

Check out the build area for the burbs, there are a couple builds in there that may help answer your question.

Re: Bagged Suburban Guys??

heres what i did with a 5 gallon tank.

[IMG][/IMG]

little dusty...right now i have one comp but will be getting a dual pack before it hits the road. im going to make another bracket to hold 2 of them right where the single one is at now..

the tank bracket is (2) pieces of 2" square tubing welded togeter to raise it up..then its bolted to the frame. the cross plate is 3/16" plate that i bolted the air tank to. no way the tank would work with those brackets without raising it up..it barely clears now.

I mounted mine to the bottom of the rear floor between the gas tank and bumper.

Kev - it's probably 8" off the ground when aired out. I'll try to take some good pictures the next time I get a chance.

Re: Bagged Suburban Guys??

Here's the best I can do right now. it's not quite as low as it appears because I have the front on jack stands.

Re: Bagged Suburban Guys??

here is where i have mine mounted at. not exactly the quietest spot because i have the rear valves mounted directly to the tank, but then again my burb isnt exactly quiet anyways.... doesnt help that i dont have a rear floor lmao
but anyways its just another idea. oh! its a 9 gallon tank, and the rear valves will be getting relocated to below the rear floor once i build it. but the tank will most likely stay their.

Re: Bagged Suburban Guys??

I ended up mounting the tank and compressor under the third door on the frame.
