Paint match or not?

I’ve been debating back and forth all weekend. Should I paint match my front rotor hats to the rear Wilwod rotors? Or should I even bother. It’s purely asthetics.

Nice set up!! The breaking surface on the rears will clean itself off once you drive it, and look like the fronts...bare metal. You may want to match the center of the fronts to the rears?? I probably would from my perspective.

Re: Paint match or not?

Never heard the term rotor hat. But I'd want to match up the black on both.

Now that I’ve slept on it, I think painting the hats is the way to go.

I come from a racing background where rotors and hats were separate parts that bolted together. Old habits die hard.

Re: Paint match or not?

Are they visible with the wheels on? If not, I do not think it would be cutting corners to not paint them.

Copy, yeah, that makes sense, I'd paint em too. I'm almost picky enough to paint something like that even with steelies over it. But, then again, I don't have any brakes nice enough to paint, ha. Good luck, real nice setup you have there.
