Re: Goodguys ?

A bit far for me. My favorite of going to Goodguys is being able snoop the vendors stuff in the vendor's area. You get to see their latest and niftiest pieces plus a lot of the time you are able to talk to the guys who really know their products. After noon on Sunday the prices can get real friendly too if you can pay for it and haul it out then and there.

Have fun, take lots of photos to share.

48 Chev 3100 that will run a 292 Six.
71 GMC 2500 that is getting a Cad 500 transplant.
77 C 30 dualie, 454, 4 speed with a 10 foot flatbed and hoist. It does the heavy work and hauls the projects around.

Re: Goodguys ?

Mains52, if you would ask that question in the Midwest part of the Events section think you will get a bunch of reply's. The local guys all show up and will make you feel right at home. At this moment I don't know if I will get to go as my wife is a RN and she is scheduled for that weekend. Hopefully we can go but it won't be the biggest disappointment I have ever had if we can't. LocDoc will be there and I'm sure Diesel Wrencher will have some of his cars and trucks there. Have Fun

I'll be there for a couple days when they come to Columbus Ohio. Can't wait to put my hands on some Dakota Digital gauges!

Re: Goodguys ?

I hope you guys have (had) fun. This show got me in to hotroding and custom cars back when I was in college.

I still remember walking up to a guy cooking hot dogs on the headers of an old T bucket while it was running.

I was there Saturday from 10 am to 3:30pm and only seen 50% of the cars I think. Holy Cow it was a giant show.

Re: Goodguys ?

I was there All 3 days and I don't think I saw all of the cars and trucks. I was disappointed that some of the New year car owners that showed thought they had to Impress the crowd with Burn outs! I have done my share of them but the crowds of People made it Dangerous for the Idiots.
