Spare parts and $400.00 cash budget,, Cheap is good..

I picked this 67 swb up back in the middle of May. I just have not taken the time to do anything but unload it off the trailer. My son thinks we should see just how far we can go with the spare parts we have lying around and a $400.00 cash budget. Yes, I said $400.00. Now, to be fair, anything we remove and sell will be added to the budget, our time and spare parts will also not be counted. He is supposed to be up Saturday and we will throw down hard & heavy on it. I may putter on it some before then, depends on what else comes up here at the shop. Stay tuned, should be worth a few laughs if nothing else.

Had a guy drop these off earlier. He had three and I just happened to have the other one. The budget took a $40.00 hit,, ouch 10%... Maybe I can sell the centers for a little something. Just listed the seat belts that came with the truck, if they sell that should put me up to almost a $500.00 bankroll.

Well, this did not go at all like I planned. Things happened, plans got changed and it just was not a good day. I did manage to get a few things done and will post pics Sunday. Thanks, Fred.

Oh no, nothing serious, just my son got sidetracked and I had a couple of unexpected things pop up. We finally got a few things done, as a matter of fact, I am getting ready to list it on ebay. The budget was not an issue, we spent it all on BBQ after it was all said and done. The wheels did not happen, the quick matte black paint job did not happen, really, nothing we had in mind happened. But my son and I spent a day working on a couple of old trucks and eating some damn good BBQ. Finished product. Thanks, Fred.
