Re: Project 1966 C-10 LSx

On your dash insert you made (post #44), What size gauges are those going to be?

3 3/8" dia (speedo & tach) and 2 1/16" dia for the fuel, volt, temp, oil press??

Yup.. I positioned them so that the bezels of the gauges barely miss the outsides or each other. (its VERY close)

gotta love 3D CAD

In your guage cluster panel, you have a red dot and a blue...
I imagine one is your highbeams, what is the other one for and which is going to be which?

Greens are turn indicators...blue high beams...

RED = Check Engine Light.... since I'm an LS swap... and my harness retained the OBDII connection port.... red light turns on via ECM.... I drive the 66' to Autozone...they tell me the coil is bad on #6... I buy, replace, and light goes off..

tech is great!

Re: Project 1966 C-10 LSx

Pounded out another 2 panels today... clock panel far got drilled and wrapped... and then the heater control panel got wrapped and switched up for a fuel pump and AC override toggle for triggering my ECM to override and turn the electric fans on no matter what the operating temp.....
