Couldn't find a pic of glove box, sorry, but it is on there.
Jealous Tom! Looks great.

Re: 1970 Jimmy emblem questions

Here's a pic of my glovebox. My Jimmy hasn't been messed with. BeEn resprayed maybe once? Still not sure if it came with one. Are they just stuck on? I don't see any evidence of one being there. My Jimmy is a custom but don't see anything stating that on the SPID.

Here is mine:
Not the original truck color [Copper/bronze?]. Dark lettering on GMC has faded.

Re: 1970 Jimmy emblem questions

Thanks everyone, all my questions have been answered except one. Does anyone know if a reproduction CUSTOM emblem is being made for the doors above the door handle. I need to get a set. The catalogs I have don't list them. My truck came with one pretty beat up and the other missing.

Re: 1970 Jimmy emblem questions

To my knowledge, they are still not being reproduced. I had to have mine rechromed.

Re: 1970 Jimmy emblem questions

I believe its the same door emblem used for Custom Camper chevy trucks for 72. A wtb on the pickup parts board should turn up a set.
