I put a 295/50r 15 on a 7" wide rim is it going to break my frame at the power steering gear?

Re: Does Anyone Know If......

i doubt it theres plenty of guys running 10" rims of the front(i dont know why?) // but seems like a waste of that tire to put it on an undersize rim like that i cant imagine the wear pattern will be very good there might also be a stability issue with the undersize rim too

Re: Does Anyone Know If......

Sorry, I would also have to say, too narrow a rim for that wide a tire, should have more like a 8 in rim and a 245-265 wide front if your looking for that wide stance... Just my 2cents
