some pics of 1969 gmc on air ride with a leaf left in back>>>>>>

anyone got any pics of a 69 with some leafs took out of back with bags installed and if yea wat setup did you use in front.....

1loc10 - why wouldn't you? I have leaf spring rear that I was thinking of going mono leaf with and air bag it for load capacity. Is this not safe?

Mono leafs are not bad, if you buy ones already designed for the correct load. but OEM leafs were not designed to do that. I do not reccomend running a mono leaf setup made from an OEM spring (pulling leafs out), they get bad axle wrap which is hard on your drive train and I have seen them with snapped leafs also

I agree that a single leaf is not a good idea.

On the other hand two leafs seem to be just right...
