Any body out there cover their bucket seat backs with fabric instead of putting on the plastic backs? would love to see some pictures if you have.

Do you mean on a Suburban, K/5, or custom truck? Trucks don't have backs from factory

I did on my Jimmy. I don't have any pics but I just traced the outline on a piece of 1/4" plywood and marked the mounting holes. Drilled them them sanded smooth the wood and tapered the edges. Then I just wrapped it in same GM cloth I had seats recovered in. Looks and worked great.

Any of the above would work, but I guess mostly blazer seats. I'm looking to see if any one has covered the whole seat and NOT used the screw on backs.

Mike, I was hoping to get away from having to screw any type of back on it. If I do I may end up using plywood. Do you have any pictures of yours that you could post?
