New to k5s got some quistions

So I am looking for another truck I wanted 4x4 and a back seat for my little boy I had been looking at k5s but before I buy one I am curious if there is any thing different to look for on these as opposed to a regular truck as far as rust and overall condition goes

Too much tailgate use and abuse will result in cracks on to top left and right edges of the tailgate and sometimes rusts starts where the B-pillar meets the body tub. I can't remember what year the tub changed from a flat rear floor to give rear seat passengers a footwell, but its nice - 77, 78, or 79. Some of the older trucks have rear seats that don't fold up and out of the way, I don't know the break down of those either. Someone else will think of something.
