I ordered mine 9-7-10. Can you give me an ETA on delivery. I haven't received a tracking number like some of the other guys. Thanks, Jacob

Don't feel bad, I was one of the first to order on 9/1 but don't have a track # yet either. I'm sure they are coming out as fast as Dave can do it & hopefully in some kind of ordered sequence.

Re: Boyd Welding-67-72 Rear Mount Aluminum Tank

i think everyones got to realise he's gotta cut all the pieces and fab them up and pressure test, then box and send too, not like there sitting on a shelf waiting to ship the next day..

Dave you can send mine last if you want, i'm elbow deep in cab mount soup anyway.

Hey Dave, I'm with swamp Rat, you can send mine out behind the others as well. I'm not in a hurry, just wanted in on a great tank at a great price.

Thanks,
Justin

Tanks look great Dave... can't wait to get mine installed.

Question... anyone got pictures of one of Dave's tanks with a hidden hitch installed?

Thanks

Got mine yesterday to... sweet surprise to come home to!!!

It will be a little while before I get mine mounted.... but having another part for the truck increases my motivation that much more.

Tank looks great... Thanks again Dave.

Re: Boyd Welding-67-72 Rear Mount Aluminum Tank

Got my tank and looks and fits in the frame great. I have a question though....I have a filler neck w/cap, a sending unit, and 3 empty fittings on this tank. If one of the top 2 empty fittings is for a "safety vent"....then I didn't recieve one? I've gone thru the box twice and only found paperwork and a sticker. I'm guessing the other fitting is for a return line if needed, and the last on the lower front side is for the fuel line....just don't know what this 3rd fitting is for unless I'm supposed to have a vent for it?

Yes, that safety vent should have been threaded into the 1/2" npt fitting on the tank. Give me a call in the morning and we will get one right out to you.

will do. nothing threaded into mine....other then the sending unit being mounted in place and the filler tube and cap...nothing in the 3 fittings.

does anyone have their bed fill tank installed yet? I'd like to see how the filler comes out/looks/fits.
