yah i changed the valve covers, intake, carb, double roller timing chain, and a few other things. had to change that holley carb in the pic to an edelbrock cause i was having problems with it.....it runs ok now just have to tune the carb a little better to get rid of some slight stumbling/hesitation.

Here`s my`92 work truck motor.Not pretty,prolly looks like any other motor.Maybe a 6.5TD guy can see the difference.It`s a Peninsular Marine 6.5TD.They custom make 18.1 pistons,modify the injector pump/injectors for higher flow,40% higher flow cooling,and a medium duty turbo giving an added 125hp.I just swapped my stock month and sold it to a guy for his boat.

Not much to look at.It`s got a dual thermostat crossover which required modification to run backwards and allow throttle cable a proper path by way of a custom bracket.
