wooden rear floor?

Do most of you guys replace the wooden floor in the back of the subs? does it make for more road noise if the wooden floor is still in?I am going to try to post pics but my comp is "feeling" too well.

I would be interested in replacing mine with a steel floor. If you have any pics or info it would be helpful...

I don't have time at the moment, I have to log off, but search on "floor" and "dovetail." I think you will pull up a few threads on suburban rear wood floors.
