how to remove broken 4x4 actuator

i was trying to change the 4x4 actuator and well it broke off flush in the hole.....

now how do i remove the actuator ?????

any help will be appreciated

truck is a 94 gmc 2500 4x4

That happened on our S10 and what we did was to take a 1/8" drill bit and drill into the broken off end on each side to hellp collapse it and we used a thin hooked snap on brand pick and pulled the broken ends out.
