Labor day events ?

Anybody know of any car/truck shows/races etc. In the mid atlantic region on or around labor day ? Or maybe someone knows of a web site to search for such events ? Going to myrtle beach for the week from Va. And just looking for some "car" stuff to attend. Thanks.

For me WMSRA's Street Rod Round-up in Cumberland, MD is the best show of the year. I love the location and atmosphere. Longtime running mountain region club and event, just good old boys who build their own stuff. You see more cars owned since built as far back as the 50s-60s. Hot rods in the mountains right on the Potomac River (S. Fork). People camping out with their hot rods, cruisin' the grounds & surrounding area, walking around looking at each other's stuff, talking about them to each other.

Are you taking your old truck? Were going to Myrtle for Labor Day too, but I haven't taken anything old down there since I sold the Burb. I now pull our camper with my boring new Chevy.

Re: Labor day events ?

Not taking 68 p/u. Bed is still off and not "done". So we'll take the '15 Camaro SS. Might stop in Charlotte on way back, if i can find a vendor with bed wood, strips, bolts. I think their big car event is Sept. 6-9. Mar K wants $160 shipping to Va. Trying to get outta that !
