I saw the burb at Brothers (I have a pic somewhere around here) and was blown away by the workmanship. What a cool story on the build, thanks for taking the time to share with us.

Thanks Dave, yes it feels good now that it's over. We kind of took our time up until the last year, the last 3 months was 7 days a week and close to 8/10 hours a day.. We had a date at the GNRS and we couldn't miss it... we surprised the owners with it 3 months early..

Bob glad you liked it, and glad you got to see it in persons, pictures don't really do it for any nice build.
The owners have it at the Goodguys show in Del Mar this Thanksgiving weekend.. hope they do good, but after winning it in April i doubt it'll get picked again....

Talked to the owners today and they didn't win anything (1st time) but they won builders choice back in april so don't think they were looking for anything this time out.. They had fun meeting some new people and checking out all the cars..
Sorry you missed it but you need to get an A in that class.. ha ha

Seems like no matter how long you have to do a project it always comes down to the last few days. Wish I could pay to have someone build my truck. I guess there's always the lottery. If I ever do win I'll have you build me a truck.

Parkwood, you are one hell of a metal worker, thanks for taking the time to post these pics up. Funny thing is I saw the Burb at last years brothers truck show and didn't even realize it until reading this thread tonight. I can still remember how good the interior smelled.

Hey thanks sqrlnts,, I just saw it again at the LA Roadster Show a few weeks ago and opened the door and couldn't believe how nice it smelled now almost 3 years later.

I'll never tire of seeing this 'burb. I'm seriously jealous of the owner and in person it is even more spectacular.
