That's a 133 inch wheel base C/30, not a C/20.
You'll see a huge increase in your license plate cost.
Sweet truck though, not many of them around.

Just find somebody to hook you up with the transfer, I did with my factory 3/4 ton Longhorn, is legally now a 1/2 ton truck.

Initial plans are to get it running. PO says head gasket was blowing oil, so I'm pulling head and sending it to a machine shop. The thermostat has a bolt broken off that needs extracted.

Andy, so the truck is actually a 1 ton? I enclosed pic of fender emblem, but the door decal rated at 9000lbs tells me something too.

Does anyone have any idea of production numbers? I want to know just how rare it is.

Don, Your truck is 1 of 1,542 built in 72, thats a pretty low production number so yes it is a fairly rare truck and definetly a KEEPER!!

Well, according to the vin decoder on this site, it is indeed a 1 ton step side truck. What perplexes me is that it says that there is 60-65 inches between cab and axel. What does that mean?

so a 9 foot bed is a longhorn right thats one nice 72. needs a little work little ruff around edges but as long as it runs and drives who cares it's a beater till money is found to fund project. thats what i think.
