Question Lower 3/4 with coils

I have a 72 GMC 3/4 ton, and I want to drop it 3 inches in the front with 3 inch drop coils, and 5 inches in the rear with 5 inch drop coils. I assume the coils I will be purchasing will be for a 1/2 ton, will this work?

3" front drop coils - $195 can dollars
5" rear drop coils - $220 can dollars

they will work but you wont have the same hauling, you can get 3/4 drop coils from www.classicperform.com

I don't think that they actually have 3/4 ton coils that drop as much as I need, It would be nice to keep the 3/4 rating though

I think the front coils are in good shape, but I'm not sure about the rear coils, they have 3 coils compressed close together in the middle, but I'm not sure if that is how they are supposed to be.

The coils are supposed to look like that. They are progressive rate coils. If your carrying a load the middle coils form one solid coil and the spring rate changes
