Need some wheel inspiration
Just got the truck all back together and took it out for a high speed drive. I had a horrible vibration from 52-59mph. I started chasing the vibration and ended up taking my craigslist wheels back to the place that mounted and balanced them. Turns out all of them are bent and have a wobble. Going in the dumpster, but I need new wheels quick. I like steel wheels, but rallys are growing on me. Gotta stay with 15s and cost is a factor. If you have any ideas, suggestions, or good pics, please post 'em up! Thanks! JJ

Check with Wheelsmith in Corona CA. 1 800 854-8937
They take care of business, no waiting weeks for supplies that never show up, like some wheel makers. 10 working days and they were delivered. 16x7 Rallies for my '51 - they set the backspacing as I needed, and are easy to deal with. |

Re: Need some wheel inspiration
Jegs has 15 x 8 rally wheels for $69 and they ship Monday. I used these on my 56 and have been happy with them for 3 years. http://www.jegs.com/p/JEGS-Performan...95299/10002/-1

Re: Need some wheel inspiration
Thanks for the suggestions. I think I'm going to try the Jeg's wheels in chrome. Advanced Design, do you know if they will accept any corvette rally wheel center?
